ANGELA PIPPOS is an award-winning journalist, presenter, producer, documentary-maker and author. She’s best known for anchoring the sports segment on the ABC TV News for almost a decade and is currently a co-host of Saturday Grandstand on ABC Radio.

 

In 2017 Angela released her second book, BREAKING THE MOULD – Taking A Hammer To Sexism In Sport.  Now on its third reprint, it provides a fascinating insight into the changing Australian sporting landscape, and challenges all of us to keep working towards gender equality in sport. It was selected by the Grattan Institute for the Prime Minister’s Summer Reading List and it made The Australia Institute’s Essential Reading List.

 

The television documentary she co-wrote, co-produced and presented about the rise of women in Australian Rules football, LEAGUE OF HER OWN, aired on the Seven Network in early 2017 and the follow-up documentary, HEROES, screened on the ABC later that year.

 

After more than 20 years as a sports journalist covering mostly men’s sport Angela says: “it feels great to finally be working on projects that reflect my  values and who I am”.

 

Angela is a regular contributor to 774 ABC Melbourne and 891 ABC Adelaide. She has an Honours degree in Politics from the University of Adelaide and a Journalism degree from the University of South Australia.

NICOLE MINCHIN has producer credits in feature film and television comedy, entertainment and documentary.

 

She's the recipient of Film Victoria's 'Greg Tepper Award for Outstanding Achievement in Producing' and the Screen Producer’s Association 'Producer of the Year Award'.  She has received five nominations and won two Australian Academy of Cinema Television and Arts Awards. Formats of two of the series that she has produced have been optioned in the US.

 

Nicole produced the internationally recognized and multi-award winning comedy feature film THE WEDDING PARTY which opened the Melbourne International Film Festival and was the winning film at The Manhattan Film Festival, LA Comedy Fest and Las Vegas Film Festival.

 

Her producing and executive producing credits include the comedy television series TWENTYSOMETHING S1 &2,

LOWDOWN S1 & 2, THIS IS LITTLETON and 34 episodes of the 'Agony' TV franchise including AGONY AUNTS, 

AGONY UNCLES, THE AGONY OF LIFE, THE AGONY OF MODERN MANNERS and THE AGONY OF THE MIND.

 

Nicole directed, co-wrote and co-produced the documentary special LEAGUE OF HER OWN and the documentary film and 6 part series HEROES. Nicole's directing work includes the documentary web series WORK WITH ME.

 

Nicole has worked at Paramount Studios in the US and Nickelodeon in the UK and is represented by ICM in these territories.
